CM18 Mod 1 missing dust cover.

So, long story short, I lost my CM18 dust cover plate. The little metal plate that pops back to reveal the hop up. Ive looked online for a replacement but cant really find one. Anyone know where I can buy one? Thanks and sorry if my terms arent totally accurate

Check the "graveyard" section of your local airsoft store. It's literally always in stock and I've never seen anyone buy it.

Nah people lose it all the time. It's just cosmetic is all and if the bolt that keeps it in place is loose it's not a big deal. Plus, it's better for your gun in case your gearbox gets shot at and damages it.

Oh right there's the mock bolt lol. I'm used to people taking that whole assembly out I forget there's an actual mock bolt that covers the gearbox.

the CMs don't have the mock bolt.. however... I still don't see how a bb strike will damage anything in there should either not be present.

Well there's always the off chance it hits the gearbox, the hop up, whatever. My recommendation is to just not risk it if a BB impact strikes the part that the dust cover would usually block.

Get a custom one made. There is a site online that will do it. Put whatever you want on it. Google

Custom AR15 dust cover
