Recommedation: Surplus MOLLE Plate Carriers and Vests

There is multiple surplus vests and plate carriers online, that are government overstock. Can I get your option if the vests/carriers are any good??
I know the CIRAS and RRV are pretty good but how do they stack up to British plate carriers?
