Does anyone know how to reduce battery rattle?

I have a cm028a and its battery goes in the stock. Sadly when I'm running around in a game it makes a very irritating rattling sound which really hurts my ability to stay quiet for flanking. I was thinking about finding some way to secure the battery using tape but not really sure that's a good idea. Does anyone know of a way to reduce this annoying sound of your battery hitting the inside of your stock or am I just gonna have to live with it?

An old sock, some foam, electrical or hockey tape, pld peice of winter car floor mat, the fuzzy side of velcro.
Your imagination/ingenuity are the only limits with this sort of mod.

Cold season: old sock
Hot season in a game where you are going to fire a lot: keep the rattle, you'll fire a lot anyway and you don't want your battery to overheat.

Depends on how new the sock is. If its like new in box, never gamed, and still worth its full price, it probably wont work unless its severely worn when it gets shipped to you and "never gamed" turns out to be "severely beaten up loaner". Then yes, a "new" sock will work.

I used a little bit of velcro on the battery and where I wanted it to stick inside my gun. Just enough to keep it in place.
