Puxing 888k keeps going to call channel when locked

Interesting one: when I have my radio locked - pressing the pound key will cause it to go to the call channel. This means you can no longer talk on the regular channel without unlocking it and moving it back manually.

Is there a way to stop this from happening?

Reset the radio. You'll have to program your channels back in afterwards.

We disable the # key.

Some people on my team cut it flush, others open up the radio and put tape over the contact pad.

Ricochet - Did I trigger something that is now causing it to go to call channel and the reset will fix? Weird that I didn't have this problem before.

It didn't before and now it does? You may have changed a setting, or is this a stock feature? When we had issues with ours we had to do a manual reset and start the programming phase again. Look up the manual, it may show you how to solve the issue.

Warning, when we had ours reset everything returned to normal, except that we had a Japanese girl yelling at us when we turned our radios on... She did sound hot though.
