According to me, silver handguns reminds me the "gangsta-style" wannabes in bad rap videoclips.
If you still like the look, I've read reviews on it that said the silver paint was really realistic. I'm not talking from experience, but depending of the holster's design (if you'll find a holster to fit it in), maybe some silver parts won't be hidden. And shiny silver metal is not helping the camo. Maybe some more experimented player will be able to comment on that. Kymoz |

I would generally avoid the silver DE for strategical sakes. Carrying a Desert Eagle with silver finish into an airsoft game and it kind of offsets your camo [assuming you wear any].
If you're not in it for the bling factor, i'd recommend going with the black one |

A monster of a pistol like that made of plastic would be an insult. I wouldn't be able to "feel" it.

fuck that, the silver desert eagle really rules. it's not only one of the best skirmish gbb's out there, it has a bloody brilliant finish. the black one pales in comparison, the build is great but the finish lacks. the silver one may not be super heavy like it's "supposed" to be, but it feels very well made, the finish is amazing (cold to the touch too) and performs amazingly. and tactical reasons? most people are "tactical" with their aeg's, not their pistols, let alone their elephant killing fecalators :P.

I like the matte black finish on the Deagle, it looks like it could be made out of metal. I like to play stealthily so the black Deagle is good for my because it doesn't give away my position. I also don't like to silver DE beacuse it's too flashy.

The way I see it, your pistol should be in your holster (which should nicely cover the majority of the silver portion of the gun) unless your engaging at short ranges or if your rifle is FUBAR. Realistically, in both scenarios, the enemy will have already seen you. If your rifle gets screwed up the enemy will here the nice grinding sound of your internals and immediatly open fire on your direction (Been there... done that... not fun.) If your indoors or playing in an urban combat environment, chances are that the enemy will see you regardless of how much silver is on your gun. I know a couple people who have the silver DE's and have never had a problem. Now, on the other hand, the red grip on my Infinity Hybrid completely gives me away because all the fancy coloring is on the grip. The silver DE doesn't have that problem since it is black.
