Dirty Bomb Impression

Looking to make an loadout/cosplay of one of the mercs from the game and needed to fill in some blanks on what I'm looking for. So the merc in question is Phoenix (hes not playable atm in the Steam version but I played a lot of him in the closed beta way back when) and I just needed to figure out what style of helmet I could start looking for to find it. I would use some of the helmets I have, but I'd rather get one that's blue already



All I really need at this point is the style of helmet that would work. It looked almost like a riot helmet to me but minus the visor but I'm no good with the names of gear.
Also, any ideas on the plate carrier as well? I don't have a PC/chestrig that looks like it but i wouldn't mind picking one up either

From what I can tell, it looks closer to a Mich 2001, with a Kevlar(?) Cover for it with peltor head set
It's seems that it not a plate carrier, more like a chest rig while he wears slick body armor under his poncho

Get a replica mig tk-2 pilots helmet and modify it.

Maybe using 2 fast style helmets. One as the helmet base and the other to chop up parts of its shell to add the other layers on the front and back. That would in theory allow the space in the middle over the top where the head strap for the comms I sits.

Not sure about the face mask though. Looks kinda like the O2 asks shown for use with FAST helmets but not exactly. Here's another option:

Oo thanks for those, the one with the profile view is pretty useful. And if that's the case, I'd probably just take one and EVA foam or mold it myself with something else
