Airsoft in quebec for foreigners

Hi guys,
I'm a veteran airsofter who recently was move from europe to montreal, and know I'm in the seek of team or club to join.
I read all the laws threads but I would like to ask because I have no clear, if with my status of temporary worker, for the moment, I can have any problem with the law for play airsoft.
Other thing I don't know is if I'm allowed to buy my own AEG or I must to rent to play.
Sorry to the administrators if this is no the correct place for this question, but I will apreciate if somebody can help me.

There's no issues at all with buying/owning your own rifle, as long as you're 18+

Nationality or visa etc has no impact whatsoever

Just be sure to not commit any crimes or openly carry any guns in public and you'll be good

Border agency is not too kind with the importation of Airsoft guns in the country, so it is recommended you buy guns from retailers in Canada to avoid headaches

Gear and other non-weapon related stuff are good to go

Thanks MultipleParadox for your answer, this clarifies a lot of doubs I had. I thing is better to buy here a new one AEG than try to sent from europe my olds AEG. It's a shame!!.
Now I only need to find a group/place to play near Montreal, any ideas?

Check the games section. There's plenty of games posted on ASC and you'll meet a lot of good people there.
