Horrible gas efficiency with KP-06 with CO2 mags
Hey guys, I recently purchased a NIB KP-06 from a member here that came with a CO2 mag.
I aquired a new CO2 mag from a local store making two CO2 mags for my side arm. However, after fielding it yesterday I discovered that my gun suffered from horrible gas efficiency. I couldn't even go through a full mag on 1 CO2 powerlet! I'm at a loss as what could be the problem. I don't want to think there are any leaks (as the mags are new) but I'm honestly open to any possibility. Any input will be greatly appreciated! Thank you. |

You have either a air leak at the valve seals, or the valve spring is too soft allowing the gas to dump out the CO2 cartridge prematurely.
I usually have enough CO2 for a bb refill in the magazine. |

Or your nozzle is damaged/broken. Since it happens with both mags, I'd start there.

Do you guys think the reinforced nozzle from airsoftparts.ca would stand up to the punishment of CO2?
Alternatively, since i'll be taking it apart, should I upgrade to a nineball dyna piston head? I'm trying to maximize gas efficiency, as powerlets are not cheap! Out of curiosity, would a stronger recoil spring help as well? |

No stronger recoil springs do the opposite
