New gun. ideas?

today i lost one of my best aeg to the fiery depths of cqb hell. and now im in the market for something preferably more reliable and long lasting.

i used to run a g&g top tech mk18. but the gearbox keeps cracking every winter and im tired of fixing it.

so any ideas?

Go for a gbbr? I got an AGM M4 with 2 mags for $230. Then I bought another one for $133.

This year I hope Krytac comes to Canada, so if possible I vote Krytac CRB. Reviews have been very favorable and doesn't look like it needs heavy mods out of the box to make it competitive.

VFC MASTER RACE

Or just fix your g&g, and stop using shitty mechbox shells.

top techs use proprietary shells, and their shit because the v2 for some reason has a lot of play room when it is inside the body.

Sorbo pads made the most notoriously weak mechbox shells (marui) which broke at 350fps be able to handle 470fps.
Really recommend going sorbo.

The shell itself is proprietary, but it can be replaced with a standard one if you're willing to get rid of the blowback.

The reason I absolutely hate all lines of G&G is because of the mechbox shell.

1. EXTREMELY shitty material. Its soft, but doesn't deform like TM, it just cracks.
2. EXTREMELY shitty cylinder heads, there is very little to no shock dampening. The ones that are rubberized are so hard they're almost useless. I've even seen ones that were just a plain poorly machined piece of brass. Combine that with a metal piston head, you're toast.
3. Pneumatic blowback... You need a M130 just to get 400 FPS. A M130 with a good air seal will net you 480-490 FPS. All of that shit combined with a 500 FPS spring is just ASKING for the shell to blow off.

I don't know why they made such POOR decisions on their internals. The rest of the internals are well above average.
