CASV Scar rail system

Ive got a question about replica CASV rail systems for the WE scar.

I have been unable to find replicas of the VOLTR CASV Scar hand guard that say if they are compatible or not with the WE Scar L. What I HAVE found is this: http://www.evike.com/products/41927/

It says its compatible with TM scars.....

Are the externals of the TM and WE scars the same?

Does anyone know if this would fit a WE Scar? Or does anyone know of a Replica that will fit? I don't want to buy a real 250 dollar hand guard.....

CASV Scar rail system

I picked one up from eBay for $50 to mount to my We Scar, and it did require some proper fitment.
Initially, all I needed to do was mark on the extension the three foreward rail screw holes, and drill them out. You'll see in the photo that I had to use a Dremel to trim away some material from the uppers where they impinged on the foreword sling loops, but I suspect that's due to me not measuring and drilling in the right spots. After that the rail extension fit just fine, but in order for me to remove the lower receiver I needed to remove the extensions first. So I also removed a bit of material at the back end of the extension, just enough to clear the lower receiver takedown pin. Also, in hindsight I should have put some electrical tape on the inside of the rail extension uppers, because they've marred the finish on my Scar. Otherwise, it's pretty peachy, was simple to do, and no modification to the Scar itself was needed.
If you do want to put the stock rails back on over where they are now, you will need to get longer bolts. I'm okay with relocating them to the lower angles of the extension eventually.
