VFC SCAR L feeding issue

Evening ,
I'm having a issue with my VFC SCAR L feeding correctly . It constantly dry fires releasing a BB down range every 6-8 trigger actions . I'm running some 30rd Green Label Pmags and some 80rd PTS E/Pmags . I've tried wiggling both styles of mags in numerous quantities to eliminate the feed issue to no avail . I'm new to the sport and struggling to become savvy with my gun/parts knowledge . Any help/thoughts you can offer would be greatly appreciated .

Try different BBs, then try a different brand of mag. Also, BBs normally fall out of the magwell on almost every AEG.

MAG magazines work well on my SCAR, and as for BBs, Bastards are the way to go. .28's

I had a similar issue with my G&P M4 and Magpul PTS pmags not feeding properly. Try pushing the mag further up inside the mag well and see if it feeds better. If it does, it's a fitment issue caused by the mag catch. The mag is sitting too low for feeding tube to reach the hop up nozzle properly.

Here is a list of possible solutions from my experience and others' suggestions:
1. Shim the mag by putting tape or velcro inside the mag well
2. Replace the mag catch
3. Replace the hop up
4. Get different mags that feed better

Option 1 worked for me but my mags do not fall freely when I press the mag release button (not an issue for me because I don't want my mags to fall to the ground anyways).

King Arms metal mags work well in all my guns.

My VFC Scar L had the same issue, like was suggest above, shim the mag well with Velcro and you should be fine.

I would suggest VFC M4 mid-cap magazines - I have 3 VFC AEGs and they fit and feed very well on all 3. Quite expensive though.

Socom Gear Noveske metal M4 mid-caps are also quite good if you like that style.

I ran KA 68 rounders and the stock VFC mags with no issues.

Any and all feed issues came down to the hop. Too much hop, too hard a rubber or too hard a nub caused dry firing.

Try using the mag as a bipod and pushing the mag up as far as you can into the gun. If that doesn't work, it may be a hop-up issue (otherwise, replace the mag catch).
If you do buy a new hop-up, make sure the feeding tube is about 1-2mm longer than your current hop-up, otherwise it won't engage the release spring in the magazine.

There are different hop up chambers for VFC SCARs now?

Nope, people just like to chime in on things they are not informed about. VFC hop ups do not have a feed tube. The feed tube is in the receiver. My PTS PMags feed no problem in my VFC SCAR.

Is the SCAR stock? These guns can be very picky with hop up rubbers and nozzle/cylinder head combinations due to the design and small inner diametre of the hop up unit. Nozzle misalignment is quite common.

Try vfc m4/m16 high quality m4 magazines they hold 120 rounds and are very solid and cost about 20 dollars us from airsoft gi. I use them in vfc m4 sopmod, every TM or TM clone m4 magazine has had issues feeding or latching in the magazine release in my vfc m4 sopmod. Also try any of the other options mentioned above.
