Firing Troubles G&G Fn Scar-L
I haven't been around and I've generally been inactive on the forums since I joined up a couple of years ago. School has been keeping my life really busy and I haven't had the time to iron out a few issues that I have been having with my gun.
First and foremost, my gun is a G&G Fn Herstal Scar-L. I bought it back in 2012. It has (unfortunately) not seen much action since I got it. Right at the start, I had to change the spring in my gun. I changed it from stock to an M90 so that I could use it indoors. This cause a few firing problems, however the guys at ultimate airsoft helped me fix it not firing. This was caused by me being a complete noob to the sport and cracking open the gun and fiddling with it. Other than it being pretty loud out of the box, the gun had no problems. Then I decided I wanted to get a longer barrel and throw a silencer on the front. The barrel I but on the gun was a modify hybrid 407mm (there will be a picture below with the tube). Once I had replaced it, the gun (on the first firing test) would jam. Since I haven't had much time this past year because of school to troubleshoot what could be causing the problem. I have considered taking out the barrel and putting the stock one back in to see if that fixed the problem, but I would prefer to use the aftermarket barrel. Note"" it fires and jams at the start of the barrel, but it will continue to cycle and fire nothing :/ Any tips/suggestions? Here is the gun The Aftermarket Barrel And another picture Last edited by Dj_Karma; June 1st, 2014 at 12:55.. |

Check your hop up rubber. Make sure it's on the barrel properly and all the way on.
