AK-105 Tactical handguard wobble
Hey everyone,
I recently purchased the CYMA tactical handguard kit to throw on my AK-105 (also CYMA, love it), and while I knew I'd have to do some slicing to accommodate for the front sling mount I didn't foresee my current problem. There is a considerable gap between the bottom receiver and the lip of the handguard. Both parts of the handguard are allowed to move to a worrying degree and I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem and what I should do to resolve it. Any and all suggestions will be considered! Спасибо! |

Anyone? Nobody has ever had this problem before?

I'm not sure what you sliced, nor why, or even what the problem actually is (which way is it wobbling?); pictures might help.

this is the place where I had to slice to accommodate for the front sling point.
This is the way the bottom portion of the hand guard pulls away from the body of the rifle. Here's the clearance from the bottom. the sling mount isn't an issue, the handguard isn't staying where it should. Hope this makes things clearer. |

So if I understand correctly, the handguard has "up and down" play? Only at he rear or at the front as well?
