Good price to performance PTW
Just returning after almost an 8 month break.
Not really up to date on the deals and stuff, just looking to sell a few of my guns and invest in a great over all PTW. Obviously it will be pricey and I don't mind, but I wont be buying an FCC for sure as I just dont have that cash flow available. Was looking for something on the smaller and light scale to fit my body, I know of a few was just basically seeing if anything new and revolutionary was released. |

There's a few new toys on the market, but honestly nothing that would cause me to drop my pair of PTW's and go running back to the AEG side of things.
The WE katana uses a PTW style exchangeable cylinder, but an old style hop chamber and lower mechbox, so you're really not gaining anything from that. The performance is close, but the extra 15% performance on the PTW comes from plain old better engineering. Everything is more rigid, locked in placed, and doesn't vibrate or jiggle about. A few new, better optical mosfets are available for AEG's, PTW's are about the same they've always been. FCC has been found to be FAR too unreliable in their build quality to be trusted. Honestly, if you have the money, go PTW. If not, there are still some good DMR platform AEG's out there like the marui socom. What part of the country are you in? |

How much sand CAN you fit in your vagina!?

Systemas have come in price quite a bit due to newer variants. You can find challenge kits for near $800 - $1000. They have an FRT number, so you should be able to import. They will still need the motor-mod though, probably in the first six months to two years.
FCC only did well, or improved in one area, and that was the lower receiver. Other than that, yeah they aren't worth the over the top price tag, and all the little failures.

pffff that's no excuse, I'm the same size as you and carry a G&P M249 for 24hr games lol
As for good AEG's, can't go wrong with anything VFC the marui socom is a good base CA or marui G3 I'm sure there are others I'm just drawing a blank right now And despite what people may think, although the M4 type can get some good performance, it just suffers from a shit hop design. I think madbull makes a rotary dial style hop chamber that should be superior though. Anyway if you want an M4 that shoots like a laser, get a PTW lol |

CA/G&G M14 is a pretty sexy DMR platform. I actually think it's a better design than TM.

To give you an idea
I bought a systema m4a1 last year for 1300. It was stock on the outside with a modded hop up. I think the seller gave me a battery and extra barrel as well. I thought that was a nice deal. I've sold 2 packages for under $2000 that includes batteries, 6+ mags, modded hop, after market motors. It also depends what you're looking for. Whether it be a complete kit or stand alone gun to work with. To save yourself from more work and money, look for modded motors and modded hop ups. Any user will tell you those are essential. |

Well I have kind of made my decision contacted "Stealth" and I'm pretty sure I'm going to have him do me a custom build from the ground up. Couldn't be happier
