Haven't seen any news of this, so here we go.

I'm not good at spotting differences in the AK variants (gas blocks, revits, etc)
That being said, the only difference my untrained eye sees are the fugly front grip & the shorter mag with those casting (?) thingies...oh and the lack of a vent on the upper wood section.

Am i missing something?

front Iron sight isn't as tall or pronounced.

Slopping of the carry handle is a little off.

Stock on RS seems to be adjustable to some degree while the on the AS gun is not.

And rear sight seen to be square as apposed to circular.

There also seems to be a pronounced block of metal (not sure what it is as I am not familiar with this weapon) on the bottom of the RS half way between the magwell and stock that seen to either be removed from the AS or not as pronounced.

but aside from that everything else looks fine to me

Many small things look wrong with airsoft version. I won't say anything about mag, maybe they'll come out with proper one. Little things like position of the stock, mag release, trigger, front portion of the receiver and so on. IMHO, if you spend that much time and effort to recreate something so rare, at least do it properly.

Just put in an AKM mag, and that's one problem solved. You can call it an OTS14-1A. If my GHK wasn't destroying hop up units left and right I'd probably buy this and run it with AKM mags.

I plan on ordering the foregrip, but I probably will be getting it after I get the gun. It was expensive to get one into Canada, so I kind of figured one purchase at a time. Hopefully by next month/April they will have released the carry handle rail as well and I'll order both parts. My plan as of now is to run it on AKM mags because A) It's more realistic and B) It looks cool xD So I'll have to order some of those too (preferably CO2 so it'll run easier in the Winter). I'll do two seperate reveiws, I guess. One for the base version and the other for my configuration. Oh and just to more directly answer you, WGC carries the foregrip along with more or less every retailer who carries the HTS-14. I'll ask my contact, who is ordering the gun, where he is getting mine shipped in from. As far as I know mine is coming straight from Hephaestus itself.

P.S.
The parts that are planned for the rifle as of now include the foregrip (already released), a carry handle mounted standard rail, a suppressor, and the proper 9x39mm magazines. In addition to this, the AK74u foreward charging handle for GHK can be mounted on the HTS to give it a left side charging handle and top rail (which would permit the mounting of optics such as the ACOG if one were to remove the carry handle temporatily).
