Wink fami's Custom Hi-Capa's

I've been interested in the Airsoft community for a long time. The Earliest guns I've owned were spring based
and I'm pretty sure it was a TM Colt Govt model. Remember I had a Scorpion with a foldable stock. Earlier
this year I really wanted to get my hands on one that runs on gas. I'm interested in modifying whatever I'm
interested in so I was pointed in the direction of Tokyo Marui's 5.1 or 4.3. So I got a 4.3 and I love it! I also
enjoy target practice so that's what I was doing during the summer. I bet over 2k rounds got out. The only
aftermarket parts I've bought would be the

Slide (La Brama, which I detest because of the flaming ball),
ProHandgun Steel outer barrel (for compensators)
Compensator to match the slide,
Trigger and bow (probably ILLusion Kinetics),
150% hammer & guide rod spring, (9ball)
heavy duty loading nozzle (9ball)
PDI tight bore barrel
Pro Fibre Optic front sight (red or green)
Mini red dot from Swiss Arms
CQB Light from Swiss Arms

Then later I proceeded to get frustrated and wanted to do something so I started to sand down the paint off
the frame and most parts. Trimmed the dust cover also. Which, by the way turned out like shit.
No pain, no gain...or something, right?

I was going to buy a lower frame anyways. I just wanted to actually do something with my hands haha.

Cheers for reading and/or replying!

Many thanks! I'm sure you wouldn't think the same after seeing the current state of it
though, hehe. I'm not sure how to go from here. But I know that I still hate the flaming
ball on the slide and that the lower frame is pretty beat up. I have ordered a new
stainless outer barrel from AIP with that stabilizing bushing...then I will fit a certain
silencer to it. Guess pics of that will be up as soon as I get the parcel.

I didn't have time to set up any lightning nor did I want to so I took a couple of crappy
shots, then did this. For the record, I have remodeled the OEM grips, swapped out my
broken hammer for the 5.1 also swapped the mag release from the 5.1. The gold
hammer will go onto the 5.1.

I almost forgot how much of a difference an aluminum slide + 150% springs do after
using the stock 5.1. Wow.

So the quick snap of the 5.1 is before I took out the hammer etc.

Thanks a lot! :-D
Hopefully I will be able to update here before new years.
Parts doesn't grow on trees here in Scandinavia and if you
order from HK, the wait is around 2 - 4 weeks at minimum.

As of now I'm looking at

Airsoft Surgeon - STI Custom slide 4.3 (silver)
Airsoft Surgeon - CNC Frame 4.3 (silver)

Then I'll probably go for some black (since the grip is) and
red accents to set it off.

Or a carry version.

Did a little more work on the OEM lower frame.
The slanted cut I did a lot. First honest mistake
was to sand too much on the rail gap...oh well.

I thought so too! I'll definitely keep this lower around for some other project of leftover parts. I was lucky today.
I actually got my ehobbyasia order! So now I'm only waiting for 3 more with small parts. I also got a parcel from
Alpha Airsoft, but the piece was incorrect. It was a sear and valve knocker for a TM G17. So I'll have to return
that and hope they still have the hammer I really wanted. Then I also asked them to keep a frame and slide set
aside for a week. If I'm lucky I'll get a really nice deal.

Well, onto the pics. What I got was a suppressor adapter + suppressor with actual dampening material inside.
You can open it up and replace it with w/e you want. Now there's some round foam inserts from bottom to top.
I think this project would be really awesome all black, oh and a 7" barrel + a red dot sight, because the front
sight is more or less useless since the suppressor is blocking it. Also there was a pair of grip screws from AIP,
which were pretty bad in terms of quality. Very soft aluminum. If you use an allen wrench out of bad quality,
you might 'screw' the bolt up totally.

Enjoy badass pics.

Thanks m8! Haha.
Well... I've decided to do the 4.3 to a tactical looking IPSC monster.
So what better for it to be mostly black then? To be honest, I'm kind of
tired of the super pimp looking guns. My 5.1 might turn up like one but,
this one? No way.

NINE BALL Custom Lower Frame 4.3 LDC

NINE BALL Hi-Capa Custom Grip

Shooters Design Ballistic .40 Slide

5KU Three Hole Custom Short Trigger
(because quality doesn't matter here as much)

AKA Alu Hammer protection plate
(I don't want to mess up my NB lower as I did with my 4.3 original one.)

AIP reinforced nozzle kit

Gunsmith Bros Super Lightweight BBU

Stainless steel leaf spring

thing is going to look beast in about two weeks.

The big order at A-Airsoft has to wait.

OK. If the thought has ever occurred to you, to buy nicer grip bolts. Sure, that's fine.
But make sure they are made out of 70-75 aluminum or stainless steel.

I recently got a pair of AIP grip screws. BOTH of the bolts has cracked to the point
where I no longer could thread them out by normal means.

Do.NOT.EVER. buy AIP's grip bolts.

I love the font you use, very sophisticated! Those waffle grips, how comfy are they compared to the stock ones?
