VFC / DBOYS / ECHO 1 SCAR-H..How to spot the difference
Hey all, I got a SCAR-H recently , and the guy I got it from says its a VFC. I've been doing some reading on all the different kinds, and was wondering how you spot the differences between the aforementioned brands.
The SCAR I got has all the right trademarks, which is something I don't think the dboys version has? I know dboys is just a vfc clone, but there must be some differences...... Like does the dboys have the hidden wire feature in the stock/butt of the gun? |

Only early versions have trades.
Does yours have the wires in the hinge? Functioning bolt catch? Look in the mag well. Does it look like a VFC gearbox? |

the dboys isn't quite a vfc clone as it doesn't tear down like the vfc... the vfc one doesn't have wiring to get to the battery compartment, it's integrated into a pin/contact system. the dboys is wired traditionally.
