GBBR Hop Rubber - The better choice

I apologize as this may, and most likely has been covered, but my search didn't turn up a direct comparison of the rubbers I'm curious about. I'm curious to know what the best hop rubber is kickin around these days. I've seen a couple: I know RA-Tech is the go-to most times for WE rifles, however I have seen people using the Maple Leaf 75° rubber and I have even seen/heard of people using the A+ 60° rubber (although to my knowledge this is for pistols as I bought one for my WE G17 and it sucked a fat one).

For all you gas snobs out there, what's the better choice?

May want to add Nineball and PDI W-Hold to that mix as well. Curious to see where those stack up.

Currently using PDI W-Hold in my Marui 1911, and putting it into my WE M4 as well.

Zack I've got a REAPS A+ in one of my WE M4s and it sends .40g Bastards to the moon at 430fps. Not sure if its the 60° or 70°.. I have another set of both on their way to me as we speak tho.

stock tm vsr-10 hop up rubber is the best i've used so far while i have the 9 ball, A+ and Maple sitting in my tool box.

The Nineball Purple rubber mated with either the Nineball barrel or Tanio Koba (rifled) one is the best you can get, if not the best.

Yeah, I'm always curious about the ones that aren't so commonly used in the gas area. PDI W-Hold is something I could see being really good, have one in two of my AEGs now and they are long range lasers.

I want to fine tune mine with as little modding, and money, as possible. If I can simply get a good inner barrel, tune my NPAS just shy of 400fps, and get a quality hop rubber I should be beaming bitches until something breaks, then just swap out as needed.

nineball purple and modify beige rubbers are both fantastic

A+'s are my go-to for now...I've had good luck with them re. wear-tear and resiliency to swelling from silicone oil and freezing up from propane.

NineBall's are great too.

If I have both to choose from I just go with either. I currently have more A+'s on hand vs. 9balls.

THe Nineball ones are good... if you get a "good" one.

I've noticed lately that their quality have been dropping due to poor molding. I think that their molds are finally showing signs of overuseage after so many years of service. lol.

Some of the ones that I got recently have had their seal partially broken and didn't completely hug the BB out of the packaging. Which is how it generates a bit of a boost in FPS.

Anyways, the A+ ones are pretty good.

I've been using the G&G green cold resistant rubbers on my GHK AK. They work pretty well and seem to retain the fps of the factory hop.

bought a few rubbers i havent tried but heard good things about, my we SVD got the new version of the PDI rubber (I had one a few years ago and the finger of its "W" hold tore off after like 10 shots, they were much taller and narrower) and the Reaps A+ went in the WE AKM, also got some red madbull rubbers that were cheap, but havent tried them yet
the PDI rubber gets great airseal and shoots well
the reaps was a little offputting with the missing side nub, but it still mounts straight, and the long and flat contact surface design seems to help reliable feeding without BB roll outs, and the accuracy is superb, so reaps will probably replace modify as my go to rubber in the future, thoug the PDI rubber in my ACE VD also shoots extremely well, but the hopup nub is shaped a bit more conventionally, which could be good or bad depending on what your gun decides feeding BBs like, for my ACE VD it was fine but my AK was pushing BBs past the hopup completely with most standard type rubbers, the reaps nub is long and low, low pressure more surface area, seems to do...stuff

Good to know. I have a Reaps kicking around from trying to use in my WE G17, but it just didn't seem to work in my pistol. I'm hoping it pans out in my M4. I just gotta fine tune a couple things on my gun and then testing will begin.

I've just purchased some Maple Leaf buckings which I'm told are better than the REAPS. Testing will begin sometime over the winter
