fps question/aep viability
Hey guys, I've been interested in aeps lately, especially the mp7 and skorpions. I know there is a gas version of the mp7 but I like using a battery.
I noticed the fps are significantly lower than aegs. Do you think the aep fps in general are viable in skirmishes? What is the lowest fps you would use for a skirmish? |

As a secondary probably viable depending on what you're carrying and how you run your setup. For indoor totally viable.
As a primary for outdoors probably not, at minimum outdoors I'd play with 330 FPS (and probably run .28's to lower that even further). With paintball those guys run 300 FPS so I don't see why my BB's need to go that much faster (unless it's to pack a punch so people know they've been hit or for people who don't call their hits). Typically though I run anywhere between 380-410 FPS.

Honestly, depends on your local demographic.
If everyone is using low end guns, the MP7 is fine. Just upgrade the hop rubber and run .25 or maybe .28s to get extra range. If everyone has good guns and getting good range, might want to polarstar the AEP or get a gas MP7. |
