Hey! My guide!
Rule of thumb, don't use 99% of silicone lube you can find at Canadian Tire etc. It often contains solvents which will destroy your o-rings. RC Cars/Plane shops sell shock weight oil which is pure, but way too thick to put in magazines, but is ok for silicone used in lubricating the gun. Airsoft stores should, realistically, be the only place you should buy silicone oil. Ultra Slick (the one Hectic posted) is absolute gold for lubricating GBB mechanics. |

http://www.teamassociated.com/parts/details/5420/ Other brands will work as well, Mugen, Kyosho etc. I got the Team Associated stuff because that's what I found at my local hobby store for like $5 + change.

Yeah i use the team 20wt as my oring lube but not for mags even the 10wt is a lil thick for mags.
The one i have is a silicone blend so its not pure silicone (its more like a hydrolic fluid) but its rubber safe as it is used in rc shocks with oring seals.

Yup. You can use just about any weight (10-40) for orings slide rails trigger mech. Tho for those metal on metal or metal on plastic bits the super lube/ultra slick works beter as it lasts longer provides a cushion if you will and is a self cleaning type lube as in itll try to force grit and dirt out and away from the moving parts and contact points. And it doesnt run/seap/bleed out all over the place like oil does.
Just stick with the airsoft innovations light weight stuff for mags/in yer gas as even the 10wt stuff is prety thick for that aplication.
