A&k m60 wont stop shooting
so Recently my M60 continues to shot for a WHILE after i stop pulling the trigger, Its deffinately a problem and not very safe. Currently it will shot anywhere from 10 - 50 or sometime more in a row on a single trigger touch. leading to people getting lit up more than intended and my gun shooting like mad even after i duck into cover. Problem is i cant find any videos on youtube to guide me in taking it apart and finding the problem. If anyone out there has experienced this or know of any good breakdown guides or any advice on how to fix this.

Mostly the trigger switch gets stuck on "ON" position, or there is a kink in the wiring which would cause to bypass the trigger, but it would also shoot randomly, not only after puling the trigger.
These gearboxes uses microswitch, really easy to change out. |

Wer you running lipo?
if so the trigger contacts are likely fused together. If not then there is likely a short someplace or broken/damaged trigger switch Edit. Ahh yes the microswitch triggers forgot about those. Its likely that then. It could just be sticky from grime or corrosion if it was used in the rain or mud or stored in a damp area or even left over night in the car. You could try sprayin the switch with some lube then blowing it off with some duster to remove any extra lube and gunk or replace the switch. Not that i endorse evike that much but i think this is what yer after http://www.evike.com/product_info.ph...ducts_id=25818

I had this happen to me as well. The problem I had was that a BB got underneath the gearbox and interfered with the trigger.

It's like Merv Griffin, it loves to kill.
A&K micro switches seem to be not so great. You may be able to bend the lever to deal with this or you might have to replace. Search for info on the 249 trigger switch as it appears pretty much the same.

OK thanks for the feedback guys. Now does anyone know where I can find a video or description of how I disassemble the m60. Is the micro switch inside the gearbox. Or can I spray lube directly into the trigger without taking anything apart??

Unless there was a BB interfering with the trigger and the CLR dissolved it lol
