C-TAC CTAWP Pro Sniper Rifle
I m new to airsoft...a recenty bought a C-TAC from buyairsoft. The spring is so hard to crank ! After 50 bbs and many malfonction ( bb doesnt load properly and set loose in the gun preventing another shot, must open gun to set free bb) i found this part ( plastic) who's job is to get bb from the mag and load it. I ask for replacement parts..can i get them metal ? the scope seems pretty but generic...dont know how long will last. Feel free to comment and advise me...pros and cons are welcome ! I dont know yet how to post jpeg...i have pics of this plastic cheap part who's causing me so much trouble.

Sniper rifles dont often work well out of the box and most of us who run bolt actions put about 1000 dollers into them to have them perform well and be durable enough to last more then a few mags.
The first issue with your gun is its a ctac. The next problem was buin from buyairsoft. Im not familiar with that modle but i can say almost certianly that you wount find many or any upgrade or replacement parts for it. You may get lucky and find it takes vsr10 or l96 upgrade parts but a quick google search doesnt look promising. Look for a refund from buyairsoft if its new and malfunctioning. Then take the money you spent on that and buy a decent l96 (i say l96 cause it looks like the gun you currently have. I would suggest a vsr10 personnaly) Then start savin up for the 800 bucks in uopgrades youll need. Id suggest buyin a laylax piston and steel sears right away cause those will wear out first and only cost 150-200 bucks so its better to just do em right away.

Upload your image to an image host like imgur, tinypic, etc. and use the [ IMG][ /IMG] tags to hotlink them.
As for the part you're describing.... I'm assuming you mean the little plastic piece in the magazine that stops the BB's from being pushed out all at once? If so, you're SOL and need to buy a new mag (or at least I haven't found a replacement part for that). Also pretty sure they're all plastic.

Not fully familiar with those l96 style guns like i said but i think the part is the lil ramp that guieds the bb from the mag to the hop chamber when then nozzle pushes it forward. In the vsr's it goes in the hop chamber and is zort of upside down from how it is on most guns. On m4's with plastic bodies amd 2 peice hop ups its part of the feed tube portion of the hop up that has the lil flat bit that goes towards the nozzle to prevent bbs from out below the nozzle when it cycles back towards the gearbox. Sounds like that part is xeformed or broken causing bbs to become jammed between the hop up/ramp and the body of the gun then when tryin to chamber a new round the cylender cant go fully forward and just removing the mag and cycling the bolt wont cause the stray bb to fall free cause its really jammed in there. Happens on we m4 gbbr but you just do a standard jam clear like a real ar and yer good as there is ample space so droppin the mag and cycling the bolt drops the bb right out. Even facing the ejection port towards the ground and cycling the bolt works most times.
Sory OP i think your best bet is to just return and buy a know bolt action to build off of. Most of the l96 vsr10 and aps2 guns will work okay out of the box have a huge ammount of aftermarket parts and a vast pool of knowlage around the bords to help you.

For the record, you can actually post more than 1 picture per reply. Also, you don't need to do a double "[ img]" tag.
As for that part, I have no idea I don't particularly know sniper rifles that well. Buyairsoft has extended their help to you so just take it and see what they can offer in terms of help/warranty.

Yeah its nice to see them extending a hand to help their customer.
Took me a few times to figure out thag photo bucket includes the [img]'s in the links. Its handy just gotta click on it and paste it easy peasy. As far as if thats the culprit im not sure. It does appear to be a metal part tho not plastic.

I will post another thread when all of this will be over, it can takes more than 4-5 weeks. Thank you for all your replies and stay tune for more...i'm sure everyone want to know how good is BuyAirsoft customer service. |

Looks like a Well MB4401 branded as C-TAC. Upgrades for this gun should be Tokyo Marui L96.
