Very nice. I'm actually finishing off a kit very similar to yours. How are you liking the USTS slap charge pouches? Just out of curiosity, what materials did you use to make the dummy slap charges, and is there a guide for it?

I used some left over modeling clay, duck tape and wire. Pretty simple, takes about 5 mins to make.

JSOC mostly runs Glock these days even though the 226 stays a Navy favorite. Also if you,re going to do a breacher kit, at least put on a fake Ballistic helmet on your head. No one is going to breach with a bump helmet even the very high speed Jedis that are the Dev guys.
You should replace the Sordin byt Comtac2 or ACH Also cut down the handles on those cutters You basically have a real good start that just needs tweaking to make perfect

I have my helmet setup that way so I can use it for all of my kits, don't really want to spend any more than I already have making 3 different helmets. As for the bolt cutters they're just for pictures.

Gen 3 AOR1.
Either someone is connected or e-Bay loves you. Either way, not cheap nor easy to get.

Don't need connections, I used to be DEVGRU till I was discharged. Some BS about me being declared a 'weapon of mass destruction' I guess I was operating too hard. /sarcasm
Got them off ebay awhile back, definitely didn't pay the ridiculous price you see on ebay these days though. |

damn it just keeps getting better. whats next? and the answer better not be "thats it". the rules clearly dictate that if you post gear setups like these, you have to keep doing it.

I don't have anyone to take pics for me or a tripod so I had to set my camera on a timer and run over to take a pic =( I'm getting an M79 'pirate gun' instead. I already have 2 of those tri-shot shotguns and can't justify buying another one for looks.

Any fake plates in the vest? That usually gets it to sit a bit better.

Do they have mass or are they light like flutter boards?
It looks like the vest is floating on you.

Flutter board is a pretty accurate description. I have a pair of these http://shellbacktactical.com/banshee...package-1.aspx I may stuff in there as well. It could be that I don't have the vest completed fitted either. I kind of hastily took these pics myself in my condo. Next time I head out to the field I'll tidy up the kit and take some proper pics. |
