trouble with a motor an gearbox
I have buy a Modify S110 V2 complete gearbox M4 (torque kit) an i use a G&P M120 High Speed Long Motor. when i just connect the motor outside the grip is ok fonction but when i put it in the grip nothing the motor not fonction.
It is because the gearset is torque an i use a high speed motor ? or it is other thing ? thanks |

The first suspect is always your battery, do you have another fully charged battery to try?

IF the wires are crossed the motor will act as you are describing

I just came across a G&P M120 Highspeed motor in a client's gun that was crap. So it could just be the motor.
The thing wouldn't even pull an M100. Threw a different motor in and it zipped along nicely. |

now i don`t no what to do, i try 3 different motor with 3 Lipo full charge an nothing work, i try the motor outside the grip an plug direct to the battery an don`t turn , i try the battery on my 3 other aeg an it`s work. with the gearbox there no fuse, do i need to put one on the + wire ?

IMO adding a fuse will not help
1- You need to rule out the semi auto glitch 2- get a multimeter and check and see if power is getting to the motor terminals with the battery installed and the trigger pulled 3- you need to check conductivity of your mechbox wires with the battery not connected Last edited by Rusty Lugnuts; January 26th, 2013 at 17:45.. |

i try the motor in an other airsoft (King Arms) an is fonction no problem.
i try with a multimeter, with the battery plg in an check the power at the connector for the motor an the power pass, but when i put together the gearbox, grip an the motor, i pull the trigger an it fonction 1seconde an stop , i get out the motor from the grip an there is no power at the motor connector. It is can be the power switch ? not fonction. (it`s a brand new full gearbox Modify) |

AS you know the selector plate on the side decides which mode you are in, IN full auto the cut off lever does nothing. Are your results the same in semi and full auto?

it`s in full auto.

one of your wires goes to the trigger and one wire goes right past it to your motor. If you check resistance of the wires with no battery and not pulling the trigger. One wire should have infinite resistance and one wire should have almost no resistance. Wiggling the wire with almost no resistance should not change your result. If this is true, the problem lies in the trigger- we have ruled everything else out- I have to go for a while i will check back after lunch

If you've tried multiple motors and they don't work, and they work in other guns, then it's obviously your wiring or mechbox. You'll have to open up your gun or get someone that knows how to do it.
