WE M4 GBBR open bolt issue

So I just installed the open bolt kit in my we m4. Now while doing this I managed to break my fire selector. The trigger mechanism appears to still function in semi so I put the box in and put the gun together. Now I pull the bolt back and it doesn't return forward. it gets caught on the hammer. It doesn't appear to be any higher than it was with the selector in. I checked again with my closed bolt parts and same issue. Just wondering if anybody else has had a similar issue while installing the open bolt kit before I buy a new selector thinking that will solve all my problems.

Not sure what exactly you broke, or if the selector is still in there (you mentioned semi?)... but the disconnector might be doing some wonky stuff (and I'd guess basically not holding the hammer).
