WE G39E 6 o'clock rail mounts?

I'm currently looking at adding rails to the front end of a WE G39E at the 6 o'clock position.

Although I can find rails for sale easily enough, I'm not certain HOW the rails would attached to the underside of the forestock. Is there some specific mounting hardware for attaching rails?

Please note that a RAS forward is not being considered at this time.

Cheers,
S

does your handguard not have screw mount points? On the underside of the C handguard (at least on aegs) here are 2 holes fore and mid that you can mount a long rail to.

The screw mounts are only on the C. The E (and K) do not have mounting holes for rails. The underside has a series of recessed rectangular holes, but nothing that looks like standard mounting holes - which is why I think some form of mounting hardware is involved.

ah... I figured it out...

looking at the reel steel counterpart:

seems the airsoft K handguard is cloned from the older style one... if you notice the new one has more mount holes for rails.
I'm in the same boat then if I want to use rails on this E length handguard... will have to find a way to mount a rail on the bottom cause I don't think any of the airsoft versions aside from the C have the bottom holes.

I was looking around as well, and discovered that there are two handguard types - a tactical (new) and export (old/recycled?) model. The tactical has the mounting holes; the export does not.

Grump.

I'll have to see if my C forestock will fit the K barrel. Else I'll actually have to spring for a RAS kit.

I have the C foregrip on with the E barrel right now... it fits fine. The only issue might be that reinforcement ring that bridges the joint, it clears on my CA but others may not. It just looks a bit silly.
