BBs falling out of the gun during reload

Hey... I'm pretty sure this isn't a defect in my gun but I'd like to know if anyone knows how to fix this.

Well, my G&P Midcaps have a spring pushing up BBs(like normal midcaps) so when I load it into my G&P M4A1, it pushes about 4 out of the magazine.

The problem is, when I'm down to my last 4 BBs, theres none left in the magazine so its not pushing the BBs up / it won't fire.

When I reload, those 4 BBs fall out(When I drop the magazine).

Anyone have a solution to this?

That's actually normal, and happens with all AEG mags and guns. The little plastic nub that pushes the BBs up is not long enough to push all the BBs, so you lose 3-4 BBs when you remove the mag. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it.

uhhhh ok. Seriously, BBs are like 0.01 cents each. Losing 3-4 BBs isn't going to kill ya.

Indoors, I reload with my gun upside-down. Out in the field, I don't care.

B.....b...but those 3-4 BBs aren't able to fufill their purpose in life in which they were created for..... its so unfair! *cries*

On a more mature note--Where could I get biodegradable BBs? Don't want to litter the ground with BBs :-D

By the way, actually:
AE .20 BBs are approximately 0.067.. cents each
and
AE .25 BBs are approximately 0.08 cents each

Either way I'm not worried about wasting them :P
I just don't like being able to fire all of my BBs(ie. if I can only load 30... then that means I can only fire 26).

Simple solution then is to add 34.

If the issue is with the plastic nib being too small, can you not add material to the nib to make it larger? It'll have to be made of a very flexible material so as not to catch on the walls of the curved interior BB tunnel thing.

A spring maybe?

Forgive my ignorance if I'm wrong ;-)

could work. I'll just rather lose a few bb's then messing with a spring located in the area of a fast moving nozzle.

However much you extend it, you're loosing that much BB storage space, so you're no better off.

also, if you entend the plastic too far, you will risk damaging your loading nozzle when it tries to load the last bb.

Also, if you extend the feeder too much, you run the possibility of it feeding into the hop up chamber. That, as you can imagine, would not be a good scenario.

EDIT: Bah! You beat me to it =p

Also the spring in the mags coils into loops inside of it if you've ever opened one. That means that whatever thing you use to push them up has to be able to bend around curves like the spring.

Better men have had better ideas and failed, better to just give up.

Not the P90 mags, gravity fed. So you get every last BB =D.
