King Arms Thompson M1A1

Hey,

My Thompson M1A1 just arrived today, and there are 2 things that I'd like to address. First is the orange tip that's glued onto the regular tip. I tried to remove the orange tip by using a hairdryer on it and prying them apart. However, because of the excessive glue they used, the black paint stuck to the orange tip revealing a grey layer which I assume is the primer. In addition, bits of the silver aluminum at the bottom is showing. How would I go about repairing it?

Second, There is a "click" everytime I pull the trigger on semi auto, and only semi auto. On full auto, the trigger pull is smooth. Is this normal?

First question: I think a little sandpaper and some flat black paint is all you need.

Second Question: If you are using the trigger without electricity then you may feel a click in semi unless the gearbox actually is turning (has electricity) and then it should be smooth after the first pull.

Thanks. Krylon flat black should be fine right?
Now that's customer service, answering their customers questions wherever they are posted within 5 mins.

Edit: 22 mins, still a record, least for me.
