Uramex g36 "stock button" removal

So yeah, i got it today and i wanted to switch the ugly solid stock to the skeleton looking stock but the problem is the skeleton stock didnt come with a button that locks it to the receiver.

I was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the thing safely
