All AUG's have a V3 mechbox.
Get a TM or Classic Army. That's the only way to go. |

Do you mean A1, A2, and A3?
V1 or A1 - is the Military Version or "one with a scope" V2 or A2 - is the has a similar configuration to the military version except a rail replaces the scope V3 or A3 - has a complete RAS housing on the front of the gun. There is also a V4 or A4 out on the market that has a similar look to the above V3, however has a shorter RAS and longer outer barrel. But if you want the scope, TM and CA is your best choice. I'd only suggest JG if your going to us the body only, and upgrade the gear box. |

The internals are of course equally horrible. The cutoff lever and trigger assembly are plastic and the volume of grease was approximately equal to the bevel gear. LOL. |

Just letting you know that the integrated scope on most guns is just horrible, doesn't really matter which company you get it from they're usually all just horrible (for sure true of pretty much all companies that make a G36 as I've held most of them in my hands before and checked out the integrated carryhandle scope).
My vote goes for the A2. Also, I personally like the look of the Phantom kit on augs. It makes it look super slick.

Get the A2 so you can change you're optics,i had both the TM and the CA and the TM is better in many ways.
I was almost deaf in one ear every time i used the CA and the TM was whisper quiet.

CA>TM>JG>Aftermath
The CA body is the best of all the makes using reinforced polymer. TM and JG use ABS and both are smooth. The TM isn't as smooth as the JC which makes it feel that much better. Aftermath (Clear) is ABS and has an odd texture on it. Makes it feel cheap but if you wear gloves you wont noticed it. A1 - I have never seen or used one a proper one to test to optics (other than my buddies BE aug which was all plastic) A2 - All my augs first came as A2. A3 - These are nice. Look and feel great. One problem, you can't quick swap the barrel. The kit mounts connects the outer barrel unit with the upper rail so it doesn't twist off. However still can take the outter barrel and upper reciever off as an unit. A2 is always the best choice. Only JG makes stock A3. However you can pickup the front kit online. There is one on the classifieds. Airsoftparts.ca had 3 different aug kits if you want to customize the front ends

Go for an A2 by TM or CA
The A3 as it's called is not an A3 at all, It's just an A2 with an overweight hunk of aluminum hanging on the front of it from the top rail that completely throws the balance of the gun off, making it very front heavy. If you want the closest copy of an A3 get the TM high cycle model (if you can find it) as it is the closest to a real A3. |

the CA one has a metal spring guide
the railed one is fancy but the A1 with integrated scope is exactly what you need to own the field ( 1.5 magnification) plus you have iron sights on top of the scope. and it is not horrible at all, I used it for years, it's perfect.

I loved the TM for its scope.... (Tasco one) but hated it for the wobbly and creaking body...)
As for the CA, I heard that it felt more solid, and doesnt wobble or creak! |

IIRC, the foregrip is held on the CA via a metal pin, not a plastic one like on the TM. This plastic part tends to break.
