Help with building Open TM 4.3 Hi Capa

Hey all,I am new to this forum I have some questions on my Open build.
I just recieved my SD outer barrel for Compensator along with a SD comp, also a 7" PDI 6.01 inner barrel, but there is a little welded tit at the end of the outer barrel which won't allow the 7 " inner barrel to pass thru. Are any of you famillar with this and what is the remedy. All of this will be fitted in a SD Infinity LDC,which looks really sweet on my new TM 4.3.

Thanks, and please let me know if I have broken any forum rules

Illusion knows best...I'm just trying to picture what you've described.

But you can try putting in the outer/inner barrel assembly first....hold it forward and then put the blowback unit in. Not having the blowback assembly in may give you more room to slide the barrel assembly in.

No, what it is,is at the end of the outer barrel inside it has a little what I would call a tit thus not allowing the inner barrel to pass thru the outer barrel.I got the 7" inch inner barrel because I want it to sit inside the comp.

Does that make sense now

I'll let Illusion/RM or one of the other guys who've got those specific parts chime in. Sorry, without a pic I can't envision it.

I've had PDI barrels in SD barrels and it's certainly a tight fit. If it's just off a bit I would ream the hole.

Ok thats what I was going to do (ream out the hole),just wanted to know if anyone ever encountered this.I am using all SD products for proper fit and function.Looking forward to this build,it is going to be my Steel challenge practice gun.My real Steel challenge gun is a CZ 75 SA,custom built by my buddy it has been extensively worked over.I will post a picture if anyone is intrested in seeing it.I wanted to build a CZ 75 open in airsoft but the KWA KZ 75 I have does not offer any upgraded parts.

Thanks for all the input

Does the inner barrel only hit just at this one spot. If its a minor blockage just knock it down flush with a Dremel, file, sand paper...

Yes,I plan on taking it with my dremel but real slow and careful.I would prefer to use a small round file.Wasn't sure about this so I wanted others to input who might be familar with SD products

Thanks

It does sound like weld splatter or something....not unusual knowing the SD barrel stuff, the "inside" of their barrel and other steel parts are pretty rough....

i think i know what you are talking about. one of my barrels is tight to get the chamber into the outer.

just file it a bit...it'll clear with a little persuasion

Ok dremel work done, took a little at a time until welding burr gone.Inner barrel fits nicely thru, put her together with a little adjusting of the comp, locks up good and smooth I also installed a 160% recoil spring and new guide rod by Action and a guarder enhanced nozzle put a little propane in a mag and away we went no issues shoots very nice.Waitng for my Airsoft Surgeon steel Infinity hammer, mag well and nine ball piston head and other small goodies to get here(I guess Redwolf airsoft is relocating so they aren't shipping until after the 27th).I also have to install my 90 degree Bam airsoft mount and install my C-more(real one)
2 moro I will do some more fine adjustments and testing to make sure everything functions to peak performance.

Thanks again
