Not trying to be an asshole, but use the search bar at the top right corner of the window. I'd say it's more useful than making a thread because you can read a lot more posts about the rifles in question than what you're going to get in a thread.

To be blunt. The Sniper rifle is a peice of shit, most of them you can buy freely are pretty poor in quality and won't be of any advantage whatsoever over another AEG. You're stuck with one unstable shot while the AEG can shoot a barrage of them.
No need to waste your money. The SRC G36 is okay. But you're better off getting verified and accessing the classifieds here. You can get full black/metal guns for a good price. |

The SRC G36 isn't bad, but for about another $50 you can get one with a full black body of significantly better quality. Less if you buy it used.
Do NOT start with a bolt action rifle, especially a cheap one. They have no range advantage over an AEG, they have no accuracy advantage over an AEG, and they shoot 15 times slower. Furthermore the cheap ones are harder to upgrade.

Sniping is more about fieldcraft. If you can't move undetected, you're fucked. Your primary role as a sniper is recon and scouting. Most people who play snipers barely shoot, and it sure as fuck isn't one shot one kill. Basically, if you come out to airsoft thinking its COD, you're going to get your ass handed to you very, very quickly.

The only time 'snipers' shoot is when they are playing the role of DM (designated marksmen) basically they will provide accurate cover fire. By doing a few things. 1. Sniper rifles (upgraded) accurate so the enemy keeps they're head down. 2. If they have an M16 SPR, or something like an M110 KAC they are basically providing semi auto suppression. 3. They are taking out the enemy and forcing them to move possibly leaving cover.
