Help with cocking tube & lever!!! (M15A4)
Yo I field stripped my M15A4 Rifle and when I put it back together, the cocking lever didn't work anymore. Something to do with the spring inside or something perhaps??? I've been examining it from every angle. I take the hop up stuff out, and then I see the cocking lever (not attatced to anything) and a long spring screwed down. Where is the cocking lever supposed to be attatched? I went to my so called "friend"'s house and asked him to field strip it so I could see what his looked like, and if I could fix mine by looking at his, but he doesn't want anything to get messed up. Someone please help me!
P.S. I also realize that it does absolutely nothing for the gun, but it's so stupid having something on your gun that doesn't work properly. Feel free to email me at pyro_peewee@hotmail.com Thanks, -Josh |

On mine...the spring that is attached to the cocking lever got stretched out. So I took the spring out and just have the cocking lever clicked in place.
I would like to find a replacement spring or....somehow make it so the cocking lever opens and closes the hop-up/bolt cover...that would be cool. |

cut some of the stretched coil off, so it's the same length as it was new. I did this in my ICS M4 and it even took away that metallic "Twang" from the spring vibrating inside the metal body
