CA33 Nozzle

Need some advice on this and can't find anything reliable in online searches.

I have a CA33 that needs a new nozzle. The nozzle in it is way too short and looks beaten to heck. It is 19.71MM long. I replaced it with an M4 grade o-ringed nozzle with a length of 21.20MM.

Upon testing the Hopup/Nozzle seal is still lousy. I can't believe it would be any longer and still allow bbs to feed. While I had the gb apart I put a sector chip on the sector gear to ensure proper feeding with this new, longer nozzle.

Is the G3 nozzle the proper nozzle for this Classic Army model (CA33)? I have found many answers online: 1) uses an MP5 nozzle, 2) uses a G3 nozzle and 3) uses an M4 nozzle. !!??!!?? Too many answers.

I have MP5 and M4 nozzles, but no G3/PSG1 nozzles. Could someone with a G3/PSG1 nozzle measure the length of the nozzle for me?

Thanks, venture

If you start out with the fact that the airsoft replica you are asking about is based on the Heckler & Koch G3 rifle then add to it that the CA33 you mention is Classic Army's first attempt to produce a replica of it without paying H&K to use their trade mark then you can see why they label the replica CA33 and not G3 in hope they would not get sued over importing them into northamerica.

Nowadays we have companies actually paying H&K to use their trade mark so we have imports actually labeled as H&K this and that such as the H&K G36 by Umarex.

The end result is that the Modify Nozzle part number GB-08-05 designed to fit the G3-A3/A4/SG-1, MC51 should work.

In the USA our Classic Army Importer is Spartan Imports. Today they no longer carry many parts for the CA33. However I still have a parts book for Classic Army which list the Nozzle as part number P141P and low and behold its nomenclature is listed as "Air Nozzle for G3 Series" so in house when talking to each other they call the CA33 a G3.
