KSC Pistols......any good?
Hey guys!
So, as for sidearms, I've only got with WE and KJ Works! And, now, I'm looking at that sweet KSC USP .45 and Glock 18! So, your thoughts, as I don't want to buy a bad pistol! Thanks!

KSC is one of the better brands. Higher quality than both WE and KJW. KSC's are full metal with some have proper trades. Can't beat a KSC Glock.

Like Ritz said make sure you get the System 7 guns so that they're compatible with current upgrades, as well as the KWA NS2 system.
Only problem with KWA/ksc is the hopups aren't as good as TM, and they tend to soak up silicon oil like a sponge, so they'll swell and you'll get jams. Falcon makes a replacement rubber but I haven't been able to experiment with it yet.

Good stuff. KWA and KSC are essentially the same, but stick with System 7 over NS2 if you like correct trademarks.

I disagree, my KSC glocks hopup is amazing, accurate out beyond most stock/lightly upgraded aegs. Though, thy do soak up silicon oil hard core, I have to replace them in my ksc pistols just about once a season.

KWA guns have wonderful gas efficiency though.

KWA NS2 guns are beasts. Of all the ones I sold, every one of them was 340-350fps.

BEASTS. They shoot that hot and they still work well in the cold too. Actually I got the KZ from you I think.

I used to own a KSC Glock 17 it's a great pistol. Nice action, solid blowback and accurate. I sold it to a buddy of mine a couple of weeks ago and I miss it already. I can't attest to the long term durability but I took it apart before I sold it for cleaning / re-lubing and with a couple thousand rounds through it the internals were still in like new shape. I really liked the mags, no gas leakage as you fill them and the feeder tab locks down to make loading easier. As previously stated make sure you get System 7/ NS2
I have to agree about the hop up, the design is over all inferior to the other viable Glock option out there (Tokyo Mauri) and the rubber does get pretty oily. KSC does however come with a metal slide so that's a nice benefit if you don't want to buy one for the TM. If you decide to change out the rubber do it over a box because they use a tiny ball bearing as the bucking and it's very easy to lose. This is where the TM hop-up unit surpasses the KSC because TM uses a two prong bucking similar to a shredders concave bucking for an AEG which translates to better accuracy and fewer flyers. That being said the KSC is still an accurate pistol. Last edited by Kozzie; October 10th, 2011 at 01:59.. Reason: Me spell good |

KSC System 7/ KWA NS2
are best summarized as great training tool for firearm community. -1:1 dimension & nearly same weight -Realistic function -fast and crisp blowback -highly reliable (if you follow the instruction, ie JPN version use 134a, KWA/KSC Taiwan 134a/green gas) -Really good durability for the price -Replacement part are easy to source w/ KWAUSA and Kevinman.hk (where as TM is more along the lines of non existent) The biggest flaw as people point out before, -It not like TM where the pistol can be use to hit people out 150ft -System 7/NS2 have tight grouping within 100ft, but the accuracy between 100-125 is not spectacular. 125ft+ is a train wreck, grouping is horrible, hop up doesn't work well past it. -Bucking, I hate to say it the bucking swell is a PITA, there's a reason I keep 3 backup bucking If you want to use it for outdoor skirmish consider TM system, If you want to use it as a CQB role or Airsoft IPSC get KSC System 7 btw despite KWA got umarex trademark, it has the famous white laser etch "you are umarex's *****" KSC Taiwan simply don't have those ugly words |
