WE KAC PDW Open Bolt
Hi,
I've been very interested in the WE PDW, so far, it seems like a good gun. I would really like anyones opinions on the gun, especially if you own it, and if you have had any problems with the gun. Regards. |

open bolt works fantastic, very long range and accurate
Good gas efficiency, also works in a fairly wide temperature range, much wider than the brasstube version. It has only 2 moving parts so it's VERY reliable and easy to fix ON THE FIELD if it ever breaks down. Personally, I love the gun. Easily the most reliable thing after a KJ M4. Only problem you would have, since you're in Florida, is it doesn't like temperatures above 85 degrees. You'll absolutely have to run it off duster, or get an NPAS if you want to use propane. Mine runs off propane, and above 85 degrees it blows the air nozzle right out of the bolt carrier unless the NPAS is all the way open. Last edited by ThunderCactus; September 18th, 2011 at 20:07.. |

Haha, 85 degrees in FL is freezing!! , But I don't fully understand what you mean, if the NPAS valve is fully open, that means maximum FPS? High temperatures cause loading nozzles to break in the PDW?

NPAS fully open means lowest possible FPS
And it doesn't cause the loading nozzle to BREAK, it just causes it to blow out of the bolt carrier. That is something that can be (and I have) fixed in the field. As long as you're running a lower pressure gas like duster, it shouldn't be a problem |
