silenced Shotgun

so I sit here watching a rerun of Sons of Guns and I get a bit of a chuckle as I had a customer that wanted a big ole angry silencer on the nose of his Marui spring shotgun. Time wasn't really an issue and I've been doing quite a few custom exterior builds for this guy, good friend, good customer so I figure what the hell

this is what I came up with ... smile, laugh, cry, flame .... but you know you want one too hahahahaha

Foam filled?

If so... that would be EXTREMELY effective on one of those TM spring shotguns! lol

Kinda ruins the clean lines of the shotgun in my opinion.

no... however I guess I could have... I was more concerned with keeping everything rigid as it is all metal . so the "barrel extension" is full solid through it's length.

I don't disagree with you really, but I don't own it, I was paid to make it for someone else ... have to admit it's pretty intimidating and evil looking as it running at you across a cqb field.

I hate being killed by silenced shotgun in COD black ops... putting a silencer on a shotgun is a non sense to me

actually a suppressed high power weapon, like a shotgun, or big bore (ie 7.62, 30-06) being able to fire and still have a hope of hearing things around you after makes alot of sense to me ...

and well ... I have a soft spot for SD style nosed weapons..

There are more than just the obvious benefits of supressing sound.

I cant really think of any aside from noise and maybe muzzle flash?

The upshot is that it allows you to fire a firearm in a small, enclosed area without permanently damaging your hearing nor requiring you to wear protection to the extent that you won't be able to hear anything else.

But don't take it from me: I've never held a gun, let alone shot one.

~

In any case, there's something that makes me mildly uneasy about a suppressed shotgun.
