My CSOR Loadout

I just bought some gear trying to replicate what a CSOR operator would wear in Afghanistan or any desert environment. Any comments or suggestions will be appreciated as i'm going to make this my only loadout and I want to make it right.

YouTube - CSOR Operator Airsoft loadout

Thanks

Cut off those loose strings on the Combat shirt

Ditch the black balaclava, and get a helmet, no cam cover, and NVG mount and VIP IR strobe. If you can get a set of low profile goggles

Also from pictures I've seen, it looks like they are wearing Plate Carriers(look like Diamond Back) with a battle belt.

Ditch the knife on the shoulder. If you want a knife get a smaller one and something you can tuck behind a mag pouch on the side.

For the C8 get a Specter DR as your sight or a EoTech. Also painting the weapon tan/brown is an option.
Mod the combat shirt to have pockets and velcro

I'm at work so the connection isn't to good for youtube videos(long load time).. I'll add more comments later when I see the whole thing.

K.. watching it again.. and with sound.. did you just say Caeser? It's pronounced C-Sore

Bought a back pack because it looked bad ass? Did you require one? Do you carry anything inside it? Might be better off just with a hydration carrier if thats all you use the pack for.

Condor zipper boots? Not sure the quality of those, but zipper boots IMO are a fail.. the zipper can blow out.

Also, never heard anyone refer to a IFAK/CFAK as a EMT pouch.

Ok thanks for the comments. I'll pull out the positive and leave the shit. I plan on ordering a helmet and it comes with a nvg mount and Velcro and I might get a battle belt. I'm trading my friend an old vest for an 557 replica. Yeah I bought the backpack because I thought it looked badass, like "mother" from MoH. I have bb's and greengas in there and a hydration bladder. I haven't seen any smaller training knives but I'll look out for one. Yes zipper boots because that's all the store had and I wasn't wearing shoes. I'm pretty sure I'm pretty sure I didn't say ifak/cfak but if i did i f'd up. Thanks for the comments though

Only get it if you actually need it, looks like your rig carries everything you have pretty well.

I would ditch it, but if you really want to keep it I would movie it to another position, tucked in behind a mag pouch or something if you can, not that classic rambo position.

You didn't say IFAK/CFAK, thats what I was saying. In the CF at least no one refers to the medical pouch as a EMT pouch, it is referred to as a IFAK and sometimes as a CFAK.

Oh ok. That's just what the package said and many people call it (EMT pouch) so that's what I thought. What's the difference between a 557 and 553? It looks like only the side attachment method is different. I'm planning on painting my gun after everythings on there but right now all I can find is flat OD paint at POCO military.

Also why do some operators place their holosight so far forward? Is it to increase the size of the reticle? That's what I thought.

Far forward because it's quicker to spot than having it so close to your face. It's up to the shooter.
Have you done research?.. In pics I've seen Specter DR, C79, 553, 552.

I don't want to be mean/harsh, but just because you got yourself some CADPAT and an AR15 doesn't make your kit CSOR themed.

Do your research and it will show in the end.

Like Hitman said, the Eotech up forward is for a faster sight picture, etc.

What pics have you seen of CSOR Operators with the C79? All the ones I've seen they have the 553 on their short barrel uppers and Spectre DR on the long barrel uppers.

Difference between the 553 and 557 besides the way it locks onto the rail is size, 553 is shorter, and some other things. The 557 is not in use with the CF and by the lack of NSN not in use with the US Military either. Also I know 553 is used by CSOR - can be clearly seen in pictures.

Oops, my mistake.

Looked closer at your top. You need to RAID your top. Pockets, velcro.

Example.

Ok im making a list of what I need. On my TW CADPAT I have the velcro and the pouch on the arm and it doesn't have the strings. Im thinking of just buying a AR CADPAT top instead of adding the other things because I think i'd F that up. Im noticing now that I need a shorter barrel... How long do you think?

So what I need:

-553 replica
-AR CADPAT top with velcro and pockets
-SIG226 SERPA
-Skeleton Sidearms 226
-Shorter barrel
-Different flashlight

Anything else major? Probably a lot of little things.

You're joking about that Skeleton 226 right? It's a total piece of junk just read up in the Doctors Corner here.

Get a TM because parts and mags are easy to get.

Get a KSC if you don't like TM.

Avoid that other brand like it's made of Herpes.

This.

Also, if you're doing the SBR version of the C8 that's seen a lot, the suppressor I've been able to identify is an OPS Inc. I couldn't say which model specifically. I picked up the 15th MBS because it's passable.
