do you have anything to compare it to? like another pistol? I'd like to see how small those things really are

I've heard its not compatible with the Maruzen mags, despite being a Maruzen clone

After you get some gas you should post on how well the mags hold propane after a few weeks of use.

You'll need a donor maruzen ppk for trigger parts when it starts to go full auto. (heard of it happening pretty fast)

mags look indentical to my maruzen ppk's

I'm envious. I would not mind having one of those little things. Gas capacity can't be good though.

I used to have a few PPK springers. They were incredibly comfortable to hold and aimed naturally.

Yep, it's a necro....
... but I have two cents to contribute, and want to do it while pennies are still legal tender!! ;->
I've had an opportunity to play around with one of these little guns. They are nice and solid, and one of the few guns I've held where it seems that the gun is significantly heavier than the mag! Blowback is reasonably crisp, trades seem clean. Finish is good, but I have my doubts as to the durability of the paint. Time will tell. Velocity is 220 fps: it's no PTP, but it should be fine for CQC (0-40 ft. range). The hop-up is adjustable. Accuracy is mediocre, with a 5-6" grouping at about 15 ft. This is not surprising, since it's about a two inch barrel. Still, I consider it gameable in an indoor venue. The small size and relatively light weight (translate: maneuverable) should compensate for a lot.
The big downfall so far for this unit would be the mags. The one that came with it leaked right out of the box, to the degree that the gun could not be tested. Searching on-line, two things were discovered: 1) the Xin Da Yang mags are much cheaper than the Maruzen ones 2) Maruzen mags were scarce. Four XDY mags were ordered. On arrival, one leaked out of the box. The other three lasted long enough to test fire the gun. As of this point, all five are leaking. Also, one of them would not lock into the pistol: on another, the rubber on the top of the mag seemed to be bulging up enough that it bound the slide and prevented it from cycling.
Maruzen mags were ordered as soon as a supplier with some in stock could be found. They do not leak, and they work very well with this gun. I will arrange to try it the next time I attend an indoor game.

How did you get this past customs? Love to pick one up for display, but I figured I'd have the same issue as with a Maruzen ppk/s.
