We scar gbb barrel extention

Anybody get a barrel extention for the scar? What is the stock barrel length on the scar-l? And did it improve accuracy?

yess I have, pics here: http://users.telenet.be/erikoo/GBB/

mine is clockwise, wich is hard to find
counterclockwise barrels are more easy to find and you can find them at wgc and airsoftglobal and airsoftbuddy

I ordered my clockwise at airsoftglobal since airsoftbuddy doesnt answer my emails...but you can try

fyi, check if yours is clockwise or counterclockwise, because the we scars can differ...

I dunno if its a real must to have a inner barrel that is as long as your outer barrel, but its safer I guess.
I just ordered a WE G39C with a outer barrel to make it look like a fullsized G36, without inner barrel to go with it

in terms of accuracy, a outer barrel has nothing to do with it like the previous poster said, the bb's eject from the inner barrel, so its the inner barrel that wil define how precise you will shoot.

Riko, I assume you just picked up a generic barrel extension? There's nothing specific for the SCAR right, besides the clockwise or counter-clockwise 14mm threads?

Is there an extended inner barrel for the WE SCAR yet that's 6.04mm or less in diameter?

Yes there are inner barrel extensions. I have purchased the outer barrel extension (ccw) and a tightbore barrel. Here is my gun. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._8091832_n.jpg

The length of my inner barrel is the short one and to my surprise, it doesn't work. I don't know why but the bbs jam and never enter the inner barrel. Even with the hop up off. I think the tightbore is too tight or something. Or it could be the rubber sleeve. I don't know whats wrong with it.

But I also am planning on getting the Medium length inner barrel from ra-tech. as soon as I figure out how to get the small one working. I asked ra-tech if they know of any issues with these and they don't answer back. Not that surprising.

This one is ccw. They have been out of stock on the cw ones for months.

Actually, ra-tech themselves have offered to order it from we and ship it to me. I don't know if there would be extra costs involved, but it's good to know if your desperate.

Actually there is one specific for scar, go to airsoftbuddy.com and look at scar parts, you even have them cw and ccw...
Only problem is I dont get any reply on emails from that shop so I didnt order one.

My outer barrel is from a M4 if I am correct....but hey, it looks fine if I say so myself

I have installed the RA Tech Long inner barrel 505mm (some sites say more or less) You can use this for the Scar perfectly (even if some sites only state M4).
I believe this to be 6.03mm, so says ehobbyasia.com:

I had to order a clockwise outer barrel for my we scar....so be carefull which outer barrel you guys buy....

About your inner barrel issue, its strange.
I had exact the same problem in the beginning, but that was during a full day of testing and shooting...
After lubing a lot the problem was resolved, no grouping of bb's in the barrel at all.
But I already told you that story...so i dunno man...:s

Right now I'm trying to see if we themselves make an inner barrel extension. Since they make the outer, it would only make sense. Riko, what generation is your scar? Since your the only person I met that has a working ra-tech inner barrel in their scar, your my target, haha. If you don't know your gen, can you tell me your serial number?

Alright. Lets get this straight! You want a longer inner barrel not an inner barrel extension.

Yes, I already own the WE outer barrel extension. Currently I'm using the standard length precision inner barrel. I was planning on buying the ra-tech precision long inner barrel, since I already have the matching outer barrel. But if the specs of the standard length precision barrel are not compatible with my WE scar. I don't think the longer precision barrel will work either. I didn't even know there were inner barrel extensions, just replacement barrels. I'm hoping a longer inner barrel from WE themselves will be compatible with my WE scar. But I don't even know if such a product exists.

No. I'm trying to clarify your previous posts as you refer to an inner barrel extension not a longer inner barrel.
