KSC Glock 19 Part #22

Hi

I have a KSC glock 19 have only had it for like 2 months and used it twice in a squirmish. It got full of sand. I stripped it and removed all the sand and re-lubed it. Now when the gun is loaded up I:
  1. Pull the slide back
  2. pull the trigger
  3. the gun fires a BB
  4. I then pull the trigger again and nothing happens
  5. pull the slide back again
  6. pull the trigger and 2 bb's come out
  7. then try pull the trigger nothing happens
  8. pull slide again
  9. dumps the propane

I have stripped the gun again and noticed that part #22 when pulled forward does not return to it's original position.

I have made a video here:

Please assist I have hardly used this gun and getting rather annoyed

The Part #22 is the loading nozzle. There should be a couple of springs that pulls it back to its original position. Disassemble the slide and see if the springs are properly attached between the loading nozzle and the piston cup.

many thanks for the prompt reply

I did strip that section

and removed and re-inserted the springs:

I slid part #22 in then the springs #23 after that

What part is the piston cup?

how do I know if its inserted properly

The springs look like they are bending slightly at the ends

Your springs don't look healthy. You might want to get that replaced. They look overly stretched, which could be why they aren't retracting the nozzle correctly.

What is weird is that they were perfect when I opened that section earlier today, which means my problem was not the springs. just meens that my problem is worse now.

Why do u reckon they bent like that ? I just slided Part#22 in then the springs after wards and tested. I really dont know how I bent them

Sometimes if you don't seat them properly and then fire it, the movement of the blowback can damage it. It happened to me once, but I replaced my springs.

The springs aren't stretched, they have gotten their ends pinched upon reassembly (happens ALL the time!!!). Even when you are careful and install properly, they will pinch like that. One can cut the bad ends off, give a stretch to lengthen and use that way, but they will end up the same way again later on. Really bad design flaw of the Glocks (KSC and KWA)

My KSC G19 did the exact same thing after a game in a sandy environment. Thank god Airsoftparts.ca has them stock!
