To the guy's defense, at that FPS with that volume of BB's fired. He could probably saturate an area up to 100 feet. :\

I think I've seen it before. Some guy made a large reservoir of BB's in a backpack I believe and called it a flamethrower.

Right here actually:

From the video I remember it wasn't that great for accuracy but you could still hit a tree or bush at 30 maybe as high as 50 feet and get a some good bush penetration.

That will be relative to the ammo he would use...

Meh, at 570+ fps and no hop up... heavier BB's would probably give a better edge than .20s.

Pack it all into a portable backpack and mock flamethrower. WW2 style...those guys would go nuts over it.

yup, but only problem... a hop up rubebr is made to last a certain number of bbs.... and with such a high ROF, you'll need a replacement fast...lol

uhh i believe co2 with a regulator would work as an air supply but using this in an airsoft arena would overkill =] (obviously not allowed but yeah)

Even with Walley-world 12g ammo, stuff like this gets expensive to feed, I imagine!

Still, want to build one this year, to play with. Not that my yard needs more perma-hail. Talk about plastic in the environment.
