Inokatsu's upcoming CO2-powered M1911/Series'70 Blowback Pistol
I think they'll cost us a kidney for most of us given how much they charged for their AR15 MTW GBB rifles....... but then again the word "affordable" is hardly associated with airsoftings in Canada.
Of course if they did it right, it may well be less expensive than getting a not-so-decent gun and try to get it works properly and the way you wanted....... http://www.inokatsu.com/ Last edited by Polyshot; July 30th, 2010 at 03:58.. |

I can't imagine a 12g CO2 powerlet squeezing in to a single stack mag, nevermind the magwell. It'll be interesting to see what their solution is.
They should finish up their CO2 M4 mag project before they continue with new projects. |

they should start making more M60 or the rumored M249 before they start any new project

I wouldn't count on them getting it right from the outset....they certainly didn't with the M4....

From the pics it looks like they are doing what WinGun/G&G did, and make a fatter 1911 mag, in between single and double stack width.

Here's to hoping they'll use the current industry standard (Marui) for part compliance and compatibility. That's what I see as well... that kinda sucks. |

In the 2nd pic you can see the slots in the mag for the CO2 powerlet... eyeballing it, the mag looks a bit thicker than the usual single stacks. I figure they cheated a bit.

I don't like that they use C02 cartridges, but blued steel is worth it, and the blow-back will hopefully be awesome.

Unfortunately, CO2 would be the only gas capable of properly cycling a full steel slide like this.

So it's just a TM clone...

As one of the guy on Trader's Hi-Capa has shown, you can build steel slide for a TM .45, but that is on a Hi-Capa mag...on the dinky single stack 1911 mag it'll be asking for trouble... |
