I am new, what gun should I get?
I like the AK-47 alot, Should I get that, say with a small scop or red dot on it. I would like to know a cheap price. I am all so looking for a team to join. I am big in to paintball and know the know how to play the pro way, outdoors and indoors stuff. I am on the HeadHunters. There are one of the best woodsball teams out there.

Welcome to Airsoft Canada bud.
Please refer to the FAQ's for general information before anymore posting it will be very helpful. I'd say first you need to get Age Verified before we can help you out with finding an AEG.

first of all take a look in the FAQ's its alot of help. Ak's generaly cost between 200-900$ and a 300-450$ price is adiquate when picking a good staring airsoft gun. If your good with gears, pistons etc then you can always pick up a cheap AK and upgrade it yourself.
Also try getting age verified like what garcia mentioned, you have to be 18+ |

2. Putting a scope on an AEG is not really necessary, but its your call. However modern warfare this is not. You will need to source a mount for it. 3. Teams are great ways to make friends and enjoy the experience. However this is not paintball nor speedball. There is no "pro" way. Ever. At all. Period. The word is a joke in airsoft and will usually garner laughs of ridicule. Get out to a game and enjoy yourself, be competitive but realize that the vast majority of people are out there to immerse themselves in the experience and enjoy themselves, being overly competitive or aggressive can cause problems. Cheers. |

I think you'll find Airsoft has huge potential to be played very different then Paintball, and usually is.
So sure your Paintball experience may help with bushcraft or field craft, but do expect to change Can't play Football your whole life and then expect to be super awesome at Baseball right off the bat. Fill out your profile a bit more with location and such, so we can help you better. Meet up with one of your Age Verification reps and he/she can help you out as well. Or hit up a game and hopefully meet up with an AV rep there. That way you can speak with players there and learn the ropes as well. Cheers.
