Price question Kwa m4 s-system
eh guys i'm 18 on the dot pretty much and i have this new summer job but nothing to spend all this cash on other than liquor and hoes. so i want to get into airsoft everything about it just seams so cool and im moving to vancouver were from what i've found has a few teams and fields.
so i'm wondering were to get age verification in vancouver and how much i should expect to put down on a used kwa m4 s-system or if im better off just buying one online. i've done my homework and i understand the canadian shipping rules. |

This is going to be a quick reply but I assume by clubs you've found you mean both Op-For and BCAC.
That's great and the people to talk to are either Kampfer, Optix, or Crash. Kampfer is in Vancouver Optix in Richmond and Crash in Surrey I think. I'll post again later elaborating on this stuff.

Well I can get your rolling in the right direction. Here is a link to the list of current age verifiers.
http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=74996 Here is a link to another thread where a user named surebet has been kind enough to create a thread about what prices to expect in the sales area. http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=93431

yeah the clubs i've found are the ones in the community section, and thanks for the info tokyo but its burnt how i saw a few kwa m4's in the screenies but they didnt post the price, from what i've seen tho it doesnt look like you save a whole lot on going used but it makes sence seeing how most people keep good care of there guns and they're practicly new. when i get into vancouver on july 1 ill set an apointment with one of the age verifiers, but what type of id should i have i dont have a drivers license or bc id but i have care card and birth certificate and i look 18 will that be enough?
are thoughs prices old because i say were it said price for a Kwa M4A1 was $600 and on all the canadian airsoft sites no kwa goes for more than 470ish Last edited by Batistatheory; June 25th, 2010 at 20:39.. |

Well what kind of photo ID do you have? Passport or something?
For a KWA M4-S System you're probably looking at a little below $500 (maybe max $525) based on the trends I've seen lately (that's gun, battery and hi-cap mag). Where are you coming from exactly? Maybe you can even get it done at your hometown before you leave. Also what are you going to be doing in Vancouver? I assume university or a job or something like that.

The prices are not exact numbers more of just a average of trends. Prices also do not reflect additional items that maybe included such as additional magazines or batteries etc.
For age verification you will require at least one piece of recognized government issue photo ID; drivers license, passport, firearms license ID card.

i live on gabriola island and no i have no photo id but i have a student card with id and all the other stuff i mentioned.
im coming to vancouver because my dad lives here and i have to take a grade 13 because of english 12(me and the teacher didnt mesh and i ended up getting into an argument because he wasn't treating my with any respect he was a glorified babysitter). also i've been boxing out of nanaimo for a year now, but theres only 1 coach here and im getting to the point were i need to get more 1 on 1 if i want to go anywere with it and he's more interested in the girls going for a workout and not competing. |

Sorry but I believe the requirements are that you must have government issued ID not just some high school "gocard" bullshit. However with a Carecard and birth cert you should be able to get a BCID and/or Class 7/8 BCDL and then get verified. I know it can be a bit of running around (hell it took me a month to meet with a verifier because of conflicting schedules) but it's definitely worth it even if you don't buy from the classifieds as it shows you went through the trouble to get verified and you're 18+ so you usually get treated with a bit more respect (however unverified members get treated with respect if they type in proper sentences and actually read the FAQ section).
Also if you're fit and have a large skill base and framework of skills from boxing why not try MMA? Try this place when you get to Vancouver http://www.realitymartialarts.ca/

i want to get a foundation in boxing first im thinking 2 years then going into kick boxing at kb-1 and judo. if you ever really pay attention to ufc in general there technical striking (not 1 shot ko's but straight rights and left with a proper guard) and there footwork (most of the time there flat footed and dont circle they just go back and for like rock'em sock'ems) theres exeptions of course like anderson silva, amazing boxing and muay thai, with great bjj. but i think judo would be better for me because when the guy goes in for the take down i could toss him because im not a huge fan of ground fighting because being 6'3 i want to keep my reach advantage and on the ground everyones the same hight.
but yeah other than private lessions i dont have anything to really spend money on other than skipping ropes, so i think airsoft would be something fun like video games and would still give me a cardio workout. oh and the drivers license req probably for the best might give me the push to accually get it but im so cheap and i dont want to spend that 25 bucks. Oriden you really think buyairsoft would be getting a diffrent product then the rest of the retailers if they were selling factory regects id think they would have to declare it and its not only this site that has this price every cnd site ive been to is offering this price and airsoft gi had nothing but good things to say about this gun in there review other than it shoots alittle hot around 400-410.
accually guys would i be ok if i used this gun and if it shoots 10fps over the limit, i was also wanting to put in a systema hop up bucking and percission barrel do you think that will raise the fps? |
