From the look of the last video I would say a video shoot..
looks like a fun time either way. Would have made the trip but with a second child arriving recently I couldnt take the time off. |

the pyro was meant for game day 1 to be used during the milsim, but it sadly got rained out and people were catching something called hypothermia(oh joy!!!). so we had a fun time with it day 2. made some very nice footage for the camera crew that came out to do some work.

I'm glad you guys enjoyed it. Those effects took about 12 hours to set up on Friday and it was too bad we didn't get to IED the vehicles as planned, but I think more people got to enjoy them this way so all's well that ends well. Many thanks to everyone who was patient while I got the issues with the FireOne system corrected, the weather wreaked havoc on everything. You should have seen the mess the sound shells on the dirt road were sitting in...
If anyone with photos and/or video wouldn't mind sharing the high res originals with me I would be most grateful. Please PM me, thank you. Last edited by Gryphon; May 25th, 2010 at 04:02.. |

This footage was taken at my Operation Mason Relic II event near Claybank Saskatchewan.
The pyro was meant for the first day milsim, but sadly it rained so much the game could not continue shortly after it began. On the second day most of the players stayed in the Brick plant for CQB, but some of them came out to where the pyro was set up to do some filming. I am helping produce a show so even though the pyro was not used the way it was intended on the first day because of the weather, we were trying to make the most of it and get some good footage for the show.

Great job Gryphon! I don't think the pyro could have turned out any better. I'm already counting down the days to OMR3.
