I don`t believe CA makes the 416 anymore, if your mentioning about their 416 blowback version... G and G surely don`t make 416...
It`s only JG, VFC or the cansoft SRC. |

Most would agree that the VFC currently holds the crown for best 416 on the market. Due to their build quality and track record of QA. AGM is considered by most to make a fairly good quality product for the money as well.
Btw. Welcome to airsoft, Its probably a good idea to hit our FAQ section and check it out, its full of useful information and tons of great suggestions. Also on this board we have a reviews section with numerous reviews of popular airsoft. Personally, I suggest you look for a local game and get age verified, at the same time Rent a gun and meet the players. It will give you an idea of the sport and a wide array of different guns. Cheers. Last edited by Rugger_can; May 24th, 2010 at 01:04.. |

As was said, the best is likely the VFC. I have a JG version 2 (full metal, mosfet) and love the hell out of it. The G&G HK416 really isn't a HK416 at all... only thing it shares in common asides from a normal M4 with RIS is the continuous top rail. AGM... uhh, dunno - it could be okay? Haven't seen a Top Tech (online or in person) and don't know anything about it. Gunny has a SRC himself, looks nice enough (BUT NO TRADES, MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA). And the CA is a upcoming GBBR... or something like that. I was most definitely disappointed to find out that the CA AEG HK416's don't really exist anymore though (I think they used to exist...). I would have liked to have one of those... |

Beats me... I didn't get mine brand new - got mine used from the ASC classifieds because (a) I live in Canada where I don't want to break any importation laws and (b) I have the AV tag under my name meaning I can go ahead and view the classifieds. I hope you're aware that if you're in Canada it'll likely get seized. If you're not - it's a pretty cool AEG, IMO. Probably shot a little over 400 fps (but not consistently, which is what my gun doc strives for. Thanks Skladfin).

Didn't CQB radio have a review of the AGM 416 where it was working fine, but after one game, the mechbox was FUBAR?
