TM D.E. Gas filling problem
Hi guys,
This question will probably sound newbish but I just received my TM D.E. Hardkick and I can't get to put the gas inside. I am using AI Propane Adapter and the gas leak out as soon as I start putting it inside. Am I missing something? Do I have to unscrew a bolt? I am able to get some gas inside but 75% of it just go in the air and I am able only to shoot like 5-6 round. Sorry for bad english. |

It's like the gas just enter partially the mag. Do I have to unscrew the bolt so the gas can pass better?

Sounds like you might have to regrease the seals.

Where is it leaking from?
The top port or the injection port? Also, is the valve stiff or "sticky" when depressed? And no, do not "unscrew" anything yet. Leave it the way it is until you have answered the following questions. |

You're probably not pushing down hard enough.

The mag is not in the pistol while I fill it.
It's not really a leak, it's just that the gas spread everywhere, I can get to fit it in the "hole". Any idea? The mag is brand new Btw. |

The fill valve my just be stiff. Pull it out and put some silly oil on it just to ensure that part is moving. I know TM mags are bad for seals on fill valves *like the seal from the valve to the green gas stem* On my buddies mk.23 it would spew out the sides while filling than it would change the sound of the spewing when its full... nothing like my mac11 mags which is a perfect seal.
edit* is your bottle full? are you using green gas, propane, or duster. |

I am using green gas. I know it is bad for a Marui, but for now this is all that I have. I plan to buy a duster adapter and some duster air if I can find hfc134a.
The bottle is fine, I tested with another mag. Btw, can you explain in detail what to do to unscrew the thing? My english isn't that good... |

I heard GBB made for HFC134A could break (the slide) if Green Gas was used.
I've also seen that on some forum. Last edited by Slash; May 9th, 2010 at 20:21.. |

... It sounds like you're filling a marui mag..
Gas will leak out as you fill, and even more will leak out when the mag is full. |

I always thought Marui made great GBB except the fact they're plastic.

They do.. gas coming out of the magazine while filling is perfectly normal... it's supposed to do that so the gas INSIDE the mag doesn't get over pressured.
TM is my favorite GBB brand |

I feel like I'm throwing away half of the gas while I fill it... so in your opinion I should just push harder?
