AEG Upgrade.

I have a G&G M16A3 (Cansoft) and a JG G3A3 (With Bipod) I play on a very large field and would like to turn one of these guns into a AEG sniper.

I was thinking it would be better to upgrade the G3 as JG stock internals are not the best to begin with.

I will put my parts list below and would appricate any advice on better parts.

The following is my parts list:

Modify V2/V3/V6 High Torque Gearset *LINK*
Modify S130/S140 AEG Upgrade Spring *LINK*
Modify Bearing Spring Guide - V2 *LINK*

This is where my page last saved... So I will add the rest in again. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Modify 6mm Bearing Bushings *LINK*
Modify Stainless Steel Shims *LINK*
Deep Fire Metal Nozzle - G3 *LINK*
Modify Enhanced Tappet - V2 *LINK*
King Arms Torque-Up Motor - Long *LINK*
Mad Bull 6.03mm Tightbore Barrel - 509mm *LINK*

If I missed anything just post a reply and I will add it in.

Thanks in advance,

Stuart Fraser

Make sure your cylinder and piston assemblies are air sealed, to prevent losing FPS due to leaks in those pieces. I might just suggest you buy a fully upgraded gearbox, with a silent piston head and cylinder head, if you wish to. It won't cost much more than buying every parts individually, and you'll be 100% sure everything fits.

Yeah, a drop in gearbox would probably be easier.

And dear Christ man, fps =/= range! There is no reason to use a spring that strong. The only thing you will do with that is make a lot of people angry.

Thanks for the help.
Where should I look for the full gearbox? I am not AV'd so I can't look in there.

I am not planning on using this in close range at all, And I will be using .28 or higher. Thanks for advising on the spring Jeff.

I know he's underage, so I'm at least telling him not to have such a strong spring, since I know he will be playing regardless.

Sourcing guns and restricted parts are a no-no. Upgrading and parts are widely available without any age restrictions. However, if you don't feel comfortable helping you could always tell him the REAL purpose of the barrel plug
