Madbull Ultimate Hopup Tracer + King Arms PEQ and ....
So I scrapped the idea of using the Guarder Mod II tactical grip to power my tracer unit. Instead I had a spare KA PEQ box laying around. THe grip can still be done, but will consider working on it in the future.
Slap on a standard KA PEQ box: Throw a couple switches, batteries and wires inside: Add an LED: Or three: And now you have an external power source to use instead of your AEG's battery. The front white and red LED's are powered separately and are activated by a micro switch mounted below the fake rubber button on the top. You can see where my index finger is pressing. The micro switch is actually off center so there's minimal direct pressure on it. There is also a slide switch on the side to change from white to red. The toggle switch is what turns the tracer on and off. I was fortunate and have a slot where I can pass the wires through the upper receiver below where the inner barrel sits. |
